1.HARDWARE:
1.1. Overview:
E6-00 is a business smartphone by Finnish company Nokia. It is one of the first smartphone to feature Symbian Anna OS. This smartphone comes with a capacitive touchscreen and also a QWERTY keypad. It is the successor of Nokia E72.
1.2.What's in the box:
Its the usual package with the smartphone E6-00 and there are some cool features of E6 mentioned in the box.

1.3. Design:
1.3.1. Display:
The E6 comes with 2.46" TFT Capacitive Touchscreen with 16M colors and has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The touch screen is covered by Gorilla Glass. It allows multi touch functions such as pinch-to-zoom and also accelerator sensor for rotation. This business smartphone also features Proximity sensor for auto turn-off .

1.3.2.Input:
E6 has a full QWERTY keypad with capacitive touchscreen and has dedicated keys for home, calender, contacts and email.

In the left side, We can find the slot for USB cable and in the right there are keys for volume and speech and the usual slider key for unlocking.

1.4.Camera :
E6 features 8MP camera with Dual LED flash and captures pictures at a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels and records 720p HD video @25fps. It also has a VGA front camera for video calling. The camera also has the feature of face detection and Geo-tagging.

1.5.Processor:
E6 is powered by 680 MHz ARM 11 processor with 2D/3D hardware accelerator with Open VG1.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0. With Symbian Anna and this powerful processor, you can have a much smoother multi-tasking.
1.6.Memory:
E6 has an internal memory of 8GB and moreover its expandable upto 32GB with microSD card. It features a 256MB and 1GB ROM as found in other S^3 smartphones. We can also connect an USB device with E6 and store pictures, documents using Nokia Adapter Cable CA-157
1.7.Sound:
Although E6 is a business smartphone, its a great entertainer. With Nokia Music player, its far too better. Though it lacks HDMI connectivity, there is space for 3.5mm jack for AV connector with support for TV-out.
1.8.Connectivity:
E6 supports Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and high speed USB 2.0 with USB On-the-Go support. It can also be charged via micro USB.
1.9.Battery:
E6 comes with a powerful 1500mAh Li-ion Battery with standby time Up to 681 h in 2G and Up to 744 h in 3G mode and talktime Up to 14 h 48 min in 2G and Up to 7 h 30 min in 3G mode.

2.SOFTWARE:
E6 is powered by Symbian Anna OS. Nokia has announced that up-gradation to Belle will be available soon. It features five customizable Home screens and real-time scrolling between them. But what it lacks in Anna OS is the pull down notification menu for quick access which will be available in Belle OS.

2.1 Operating system:
E6 runs on Symbian Anna OS, the latest Symbian OS. Its light year ahead of the previous versions of Symbian. Its faster, Better and smoother. You can experience the real multi-tasking with Anna OS. A powerful business smartphone with Powerful OS is what everyone needs.

2.2.Notifications:
E6 comes preloaded with Nokia notifications, an useful app that shows the missed events and messages.
2.3.Email:
Being a Business smartphone, E6 comes with an Easy-to-use email client and moreover there is also Email widget that we can place in Homescreen. There is also support for Microsoft Communicator Mobile.
2.4.Internet:
Symbian Anna comes with much improvised all new browser with support for HTML 4.1, XHTML, WML, and CSS. There is also RSS reader and Nokia Mobile search and Flash Lite support.
2.5.Nokia Social:
With everyone being more social these days, Nokia brings out its own Nokia Social App. In the latest version 1.3, it has a deep facebook and Twitter integration with contacts. We can also see real-time updates from Homescreen Social Widget 24/7.
2.6. Nokia Store:
With new and innovative apps coming everyday, there are thousands of apps to be downloaded from Nokia Store. Either you are business magnate or a game freak, you can download all your apps from Nokia Store.
2.7.Nokia Maps:
With A-GPS support and Nokia Maps, You can never get lost. Nokia maps comes with free voice navigation all places across the globe. Along with own voice, you can have your own voice over navigation.
2.8.Nokia Music:
All over again, E6 is a great entertainer. Its comes with Nokia Music Player, an all new player in Symbian Platform. Rather than same old style, the new Nokia Music displays a 3D view over albums and its much better and easier to choose them.
2.9.Guides:
Guides app brings out the best out of your place. You can find expert tips, offers, guides, weather forecast and much more from this app.
2.9.1. Quickoffice:
So you are a businessman and need to create a presentation or spreadsheet on the go. Yes. You can do them right from your E6 with the QuickOffice App. You can also view MS-Office documents, spreadsheets and other stuff with this app. A Quick Solution with Quick Office.
2.9.2.Zip Manager:
Size matters in all concerns and with the Zip Manager, You can compress and mail or uncompress too. E6 comes with this Zip Manager, a very useful tool.
That's all in the Software part and there are also other features like font magnifier, Adobe reader, Photo and Video editor, Message Reader.
Connecting to PC:
You can sync your E6 with Nokia suite(previously OVI suite) and can have easy access to all the stuff in your E6.
