Meego had its Farewell with Nokia N9 as Nokia moves towards Windows Phone. With Meego dead, Intel had decided to join with Samsung to develop a new operating system called TIZEN with the support of Linux Foundation. The spotlight of Tizen is that it will support HTML-5 and WAC based apps to run across various Smartphones, Tablets, Smart TVs and Netbooks. The First release of Tizen will be in the Q1 of 2012.
